Shucks, I was really hoping it was just the tie keeping Jack from seeing - after all, no one thinks too clearly after getting caught in an explosion! But poor Jack had to kill himself to get his vision back. And he's right, Ianto won't be pleased about the state of his tie and Jack's clothes, but I think he'll be more concerned about the state of Jack himself!
